It is with heavy hearts that the family of Stephen Bjarnason announce his unexpected passing in Medicine Hat on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at the age of 62 years. A Celebration of Stephen’s life will be held at Fifth Avenue Memorial United Church, 476 – 4th Street S.E., Medicine Hat on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. I was deeply shocked and saddened to learn of Stephen´s passing. My deepest sympathies to Della, his sons and all of his extended family. I knew Stephen while I was a grad student at Univ of Sask and later in the 1990s when we were both working in HPB Health Canada in Ottawa. He was a great collegaue and an outgoing, friendly person. He will be missed by his professional colleagues throughout the world.
