1931 ~ ELSIE SPENCER ~ 2022 Elsie Spencer of Bow Island passed away on Saturday, December 17th, 2022 at the age of 91 years. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Dale Robinson and Glenn (Susan) Spencer; daughter-in-law, Pam Spencer; grandchildren, Ryan Spencer, Joel Robinson (Linnell), Wendy Robinson (Nicholas); step-grandchildren, Adam and Katie; great-grandchildren, Elsie, Aidrik, and Nash; nephew, Alan (Laurence) Roughton and daughter, Emily in England; and niece, Helen Spencer, also in England. Elsie was predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Elizabeth Dimeloe; and son, Bruce Spencer. as well as long-time friend and ex-husband, Percy Spencer. Elsie was born on February 18, 1931 in England. She worked as a letter carrier and telephone operator before moving to Canada. She enjoyed the outdoors and nature, and was very fond of gardening, When not outdoors Elsie enjoyed crafting. She was a great cook and she worked as a chef for many years. A private service will be held at a later date.
