Posted: February 18th, 2023Sharon Joan Lant passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at the age of 68 years, beloved wife of Larry Lant of Medicine Hat. She also leaves to cherish her memory two children, Neil (Laurie) Thauberger and Nicole Forsberg (Barry); three grandchildren, Luke Forsberg, Stormy Forsberg and Tyler Thauberger; her parents, Ben and Madeline Herter; her brother, Terry (Audrey) Herter and her sister, Sandy (Victor) Liske, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was born in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan to Ben and Madeline Herter and was raised in the Golden Prairie area. Sharon the moved to Medicine Hat and purchased Style Crest Hair Salon on Dunmore Road in Medicine Hat and later purchased Crescent Heights Florist with her sister. Sharon met Larry in January of 1992 and they were married on May 15, 1993. Her hair career continued with Moods Hair Studio in the Carry Plaza until her health forced her to retire. She enjoyed golfing with Larry and spending time with her grandchildren. Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Thursday afternoon from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. with Life Celebrant, Pat Grisonich officiating.
