ADAM ROBERT MUHLY 1985 – 2023 It comes with great sadness to announce the passing of Adam Robert Muhly on March 3, 2023, at the age of 37. Adam passed away peacefully due to heart disease, surrounded by the comforts of home.
Left to find solace in the memories are his mom and greatest supporter, Mary-Lynn Muhly and dad, Bob Muhly. Adam will also be remembered by 3 children who were a huge part of his life, Travis Green, Tyler (Caitlyn) Green, Courtney (Brent) Hasper; step-grandchildren Sophie Green and Adeline Hasper; uncle Bryon and aunt Linda Muhly; buddy Draydin Davies as well as his cousins and friends in the community.
He was predeceased by his grandparents Addie and Charlie Perdue & Mel and Jean Muhly; aunt Jean (Dave) Lapointe and uncle Ken Perdue.
As a child, Adam went on many adventures with his grandpa and best friend, Charlie. Tending to the cows, tinkering with machines, daily coffee outings and driving 30km/hr always fulfilled their days. Adam’s ability to spend great lengths of time to fix something without using shortcuts was developed during these formative years. Charlie’s passing was a difficult moment in Adam’s life.
His skills and contributions were evident when he became involved with Lethbridge’s local theatre scene. He found his niche with set production and fine-tuning lighting and sound. Adam introduced his passion to his mom who continues to contribute her time to many productions.
Adam lived his best life on a bike or quad while exploring trails in the coulees or on a mountain. One could guarantee, he was probably wearing his favorite color, orange and had a slurpee near by. Finding solace in the outdoors was Adam’s desire, he often spoke of owning and farming a piece of land.
Those that knew Adam observed how he wanted those around him to succeed. His generosity with his time, knowledge and resources where reflective of this desire. When he struggled to see his own value those closest to him saw that he needed to be generous and forgiving to himself.
Rest now Adam knowing that your mom will have the support needed to guide her through this difficult time. She will continue to honor you with her ongoing commitment to community theatre.
To honor Adam, a private gathering will be held for those who were privileged to have spent time with him.
