DEAN BEATCH 1960 ~ 2023 It is with heavy hearts that Winnie announces that her loving partner of 22 years, Dean Leonard Beatch, passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the age of 63 years. Along with Winnie, Dean leaves to cherish his memory his three children, Matthew (Nicole), Melodi (Derrick), Taylor (Chris); his grandchildren Tripp, Remi, Lukis, Drew; siblings, David (Linnea), Kelly (Brandi), Lee-Ann (Shane), a well as his numerous nieces and nephews. Dean was born March 22, 1960, in Medicine Hat and attended school in Cereal and Bow Island. Dean was a hard working man and spent the majority of his life as a dedicated employee of Farmland Supply. Growing up Dean lived in various cities and towns as his father was transferred for work opportunities. Dean then settled down on the family farm and this would be where he was most comfortable. Dean is described as the go to guy… And was very handy and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Dean loved to make others laugh, which was easy to do with his great sense of humor and his gift of gab. People were drawn to him! He always enjoyed Sunday night football especially when he would watch his favourite team, the Green Bay Packers. A private gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date.
