One Condolence for “STASIUK, Vic”

  1. Jayne Slawson says:

I asked my mom Anne (Vic’s sister) about her memory of Victor. She stated that he was the best big brother one could have because when their dad died Vic stepped up to help support his mother and younger siblings when he himself was a mere teenager. He took on the role of father especially to his young brother Peter who he took everywhere and made sure Peter benefitted from a good education. Vic loved playing hockey/golf but family and close friends always came first. For some reason Vic’s early friends nicknamed him “Pouski” (not sure of spelling or meaning). When I asked mom if she had a nickname, she smiled and said ” Pouski’s sister”. I remember Uncle Vic as a compelling man who loved to tell lived stories, led by example and encouragement.
    Deepest Sympathy Anne Ogston/Jayne Slawson
