JERRY ZAHN August 11, 1944 ~ August 16, 2023 Jerome ‘Jerry’ John Zahn, loving husband of the late Faye Zahn, passed away at South Country Village in Medicine Hat on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at the age of 79 years. Left to remember nothing but beautiful memories are his family: daughter, Corinna (Ken) Wuitchik and their children, Jesse (Erin) and Miller (Megan); daughter, Denise (Rob) Rehm and their children, Brianne (Blythe), Abby (Connor) and Jayke as well as his siblings, Leroy (Sandra), Stan (Jeanette) and Brenda. Jerry loved the simple things in life including working with tools, socializing, attending car shows with the boys and especially gardening. He had a green thumb like no other and knew exactly what plants would grow best where. Jerry spent many of his days landscaping not only his and Faye’s yard but his family’s as well. Anyone that knew Jerry, could not say anything bad about him. He was never mad at anyone and had an especially soft spot for his girls. Family meant everything to Jerry as he loved spending time with them; especially his grandchildren when he could teach them about his hobbies. He could often be found wearing his hat, with a coffee in hand, whistling away. Faye meant everything to Jerry and her passing in May left him with a broken heart that could never be fixed. His legacy of love, laughter and friendship will be deeply missed! Jerry’s life will be silently remembered by family and friends without the proceedings of a formal funeral service.
