FRANK DEERING 1942 ~ 2023
After a courageous battle, Frank David Deering passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at the age of 81 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Margaret Deering of Medicine Hat; two children Terry Deering and Sherry Schritt (Mike); three grandchildren Megan and Sarah Schritt and Darcy Deering; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Eugene Deering and George Deering as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Frank was predeceased by his parents David and Hilda Deering and his sister Delores Beatch. Frank was born and raised on a farm and was a farmer at heart. In his early years he worked for Goodyear, then for Telus until retirement. He loved vacationing in Puerto Vallarta with family and friends. His passion was his yard and made sure it was the best kept lawn on the block. He made the best sausage ever. Family was his pride and joy, and Marg the love of his life. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone, and expect nothing in return. He had a smile that would light up a room and a sense of humor second to none, even to the end. He was deeply loved by so many, and will be forever missed. Cremation has been entrusted to THE PATTISON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORIUM. Flowers are gratefully declined and those who wish to remember Frank with a donation may do so to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
