GLEN SCHAFFER

GLEN SCHAFFER 1952 – 2023 Glen Allan Schaffer, beloved husband, father, grandfather passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, December 24, 2023, at the age of 71 years. Glen was born on March 16, 1952, in Medicine Hat where he met and married his wife Judy. They were married on July 10, 1971 and cherished their 52 years of marriage together. Glen is also survived by two daughters, Tracy (Chris) Grainger and Tammy (Keith) Vanderloh; two grandchildren, Kodi (Kelsey) Vanderloh and Tanner (Jessica) Vanderloh; one sister Ella (Jerry) Beach and his mother-in-law Doris Heringer. He was predeceased by his parents Roy and Mary Schaffer and by his father-in-law Roy Heringer. Glen enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, boating, fishing and making homemade sausage. Most of all, Glen loved his dogs Maya and Chloe and would take them for scooter rides to the park. A private service will take place at a later date.
