GRAHAM Ruth Elizabeth Graham (Gehmlich), 84, of College Station, TX, left this mortal existence on December 9th, 2023 in American Fork, UT.
Ruth was born and raised in Raymond, Alberta Canada. She was a dedicated student and graduated from Raymond High School as Valedictorian. She met and married Robert Graham, and a short time later began a lifetime of selfless devotion to her husband, children, and grandchildren. Ruth enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, singing, scrapbooking, journaling, sewing, gardening, and working puzzles.
Ruth supported her husband in many pursuits during their life together that allowed them to live in Canada, Central FL, Marietta GA, and College Station TX. At the time of her passing, Ruth lived in Highland, UT.
As a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Ruth loved to serve others. Many came to know and love her through her church service, including Ward and Stake Relief Society President and Stake Young Women’s President. Ruth had a deep love for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and modeled her life after the Savior. It was a rare occasion to hear her complain or speak unkind words about another. She truly was a follower of Christ and radiated those attributes to all who knew her.
Ruth is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Wendy May; her parents Karl and Herta Gehmlich; her brother Grant, and her loving husband Robert Graham.
She is survived by eight children- Richard (Tracy) Graham of Kennesaw GA, Randy (Jana) Graham of Silver Springs FL, Daren (Amber) Graham of College Station TX, Kevin (Lydia) Graham of Wichita KS, Michelle (Todd) Bagley of Lehi UT, Lisa (Darrell) Brantley of Belleview FL, Todd (Jamie) Graham of College Station TX, and Tim (Kim) Graham of Woodbury, MN; brothers Deter, Robert, and Ralph Gehmlich; thirty-nine grandchildren; and thirty-one great grandchildren.
The Graham family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the loving staff at Highland Glen Senior Living for the gentle and nurturing care they provided Ruth in her final year of life.
