BERNICE SMITH 1944 ~ 2024 Bernice Elsie Smith, loving wife of Sydney, passed away at St. Joseph’s Home – Carmel Hospice in Medicine Hat on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at the age of 79 years. Along with Syd, left to cherish Bernice’s memory are her sons, Tyrone (Lindy) and Mike (Chantelle); four grandchildren whom she deeply loved with all of her heart, Sully, Hendrix, Scarlett and Thomas as well as her brother, Les. Bernice’s grandchildren were the centre of her being and they, along with rest of her loved ones, will miss her deeply. Dignified cremation has taken place.     My most deepest sympathies for your loss of such a beautiful caring friend, our friendship go back 58 years, shared apartment, house, in Calgary for over 10 years. We had fun, we laughed we cried, stayed up all night chatting, great friendship, those memories that I cherish. R.I.P. my friend God Bless

    Dear Sid and family, Just heard about the passing of Bernice!! We are so, so, sorry as we were so glad we saw you both at A&W 4 months ago as we were passing through Medicine Hat!! So glad we had a quick visit not thinking it would be the last one!! We have talked a few times since that day on how good it was to see you guys as it has been years!!     Our deepest condolences at your families loss . I would always try at least once a year to contact her as we are cousins and I knew she was ill.
