ELIZABETH ANN STIMSON

ELIZABETH ANN STIMSON (Betty Ann) Elizabeth Ann (Betty Ann) Stimson (Osborne), cherished wife to Charles Stimson, passed away peacefully at the High River hospital surrounded by loved ones on March 4, 2024 at the age of 80 years. Betty Ann leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Charles Stimson, her children and son’s in-law; Laurel (Mark) Schwab, Leonard Wurtz, Shelley (Henry) Wurz, and her beloved grandchildren, Charles, Colton, Alyssa, Megan, Amanda and Jessica, her brother Jim (Sharolie) Osborne and sisters Carol Bebermeyer and Margaret (Brian) Meisner as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Betty Ann was predeceased by her parents John and Pearl Osborne, her daughter Katherine Wurtz, her son Douglas Stimson and brother in-law Jack Bebermeyer. Betty Ann dedicated a significant amount of her life to Non-Profit organizations. Proudly serving Rocky View Adult Education for 20 years (from 1973 1993-); Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Canada, Boy Scouts of Canada, Friends of Kananaskis. During and after her time with adult education she was a passionate advocator for adult literacy programs in rural Alberta. Her family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Dr. Rapske, Dr. Andruski and the many nurses and healthcare staff at the High River Hospital for their dedication and compassion.
