Posted: July 4th, 2024

LITTLE October 19, 1946 – July 2, 2024 PAUL GEOFFREY LITTLE passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Paul is survived by his loving wife Sharon of 55 years, son Trevor, daughter Becky (Scott), his sister Shelley (Dave), numerous cousins, and his grand-dog Joon.
Known for his kind and gentle nature Paul was generous and loving, and people were drawn to his positivity. Throughout his life he enjoyed being outside fishing and camping, looking at old cars, and his garden flowers. His also enjoyed the laughs and conversations with all his coffee buddies.
Paul had a proud and distinguished career spending 32 years with the Lethbridge Fire Department, retiring in 2007 as the Chief Fire Marshall. While not quite ready to fully retire, Dad joined the City of Lethbridge School Bus Driver team from 2009 – 2015. He loved all the young people who rode his buses and they put many a great smile on his face.
Paul’s positivity carried on even in the years he battled cancer and he will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
The family thanks the entire team at the Jack Addy Cancer Centre, the team on 4C at the Chinook Regional Hospital, and Cornerstone Funeral Home for the amazing care of Paul.
Everyone is welcome to attend a come and go reception with the family at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825-32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Friday, July 5, 2024 from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. We look forward to hearing your memories.

One Condolence for “LITTLE, Paul”

  1. Kevan Jess says:

    Sharon and family.

Sorry to hear of Paul’s illness and passing. My deepest sympathies to you and your family.

As Chief Fire Marshal Paul taught me a great deal about codes and people. He also unknowingly mentored me in my role with the Government for which I will be forever grateful.

His willingness to discuss and explore difficult situations, and his advocacy for fire prevention programming, are things I truly appreciate.

    Rest in Peace Brother Paul!
