Later Mom and Dad would move to Medicine Hat to be closer to their children. Stan was very outgoing, he loved to be around people, with a smile on his face and telling stories. In Stan’s spare time, he loved curling, baseball, playing cards, fishing, camping and golfing. He looked forward to the annual golf trips with Cory and their friends. Dad loved animals, music and playing guitar (self taught) and would often welcome you with hugs, many would know them as “ooaaws”. After retirement Mom and Dad traveled to many places including, Germany, Hawaii, Arizona and the Dominican. Spending many winters in Yuma, Arizona, they developed many more friendships. God knew Dad was tired, so he was called home to be with Mom. The family would like to thank the special staff at River Ridge Expressions Unit.
