MYRNA R. STORLIEN 1942 – 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Myrna R. Storlien (nee Anderson) on September 9, 2024.
Myrna is survived by her children, Deborah (Curtis) and Jill (Rob); her grandchildren, Sarah (Tom) and Garrett; her great-grandchildren, Harold (Harry) and Tillie; her godchild, Nicole (Chad) and many nephews and nieces. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Harold; her parents, Wayne and Araminta Anderson; stepfather, Aubrey; siblings, Colleen (Bob), Phil (Jane), and Randy; father-in-law, Sigurd, and mother-in-law, Ann; and brother-in-law, Len, and sister-in-law, Sue.
Myrna loved working in her beautiful gardens, making cross stitch pictures and caring for her cherished pets, Brandy, Tiffany and Mollie. She and Harold thoroughly enjoyed family vacations in Hawaii; their trips to Greece, Sweden and Norway; and spending time with family and friends.
Myrna unfortunately dealt with many challenging health problems throughout her lifetime. The care and support from her family, friends, and more in the later years, her church community, was appreciated. In particular, her friend, Beth, and her visiting teachers and friends, especially Jenny and Maureen, who supported her during many years. Myrna had employed several private caregivers during the last years of her life who all took very good care of her which was appreciated.
In recognition of Myrna’s wishes, a private graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
