It is with heavy hearts that we are announcing the passing of our Dad, Pete Hoeppner. He passed away peacefully at Good Samaritan Southridge Village in Medicine Hat on Monday, September 23, 2024, at the age of 98 years. Dad’s memory will always be cherished in the hearts of his children, Cathy (Rick) Jensen, Peter Hoeppner, Ken Hoeppner, Larry (Roxanne) Hoeppner and Betty (Lloyd) Guckert; six grandchildren; seven-great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by the love of his life, Mary as well as his son-in-law, Rick Jensen. Dad loved his family and always looked forward to our visits. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing from dawn to dusk. No matter where Dad went, he always made friends. His grandchildren held a very special place in his heart as he always made time for them. We know he is with Mom and their heavenly Father. He will be forever missed by all who knew him. We would like to thank the staff at Good Sam’s for the care that they gave our Dad. A Celebration of Pete’s life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 -13 Street S.W., on Monday, September 30, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mike Deibert officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
