LESLEY HAROLD LUTZ 1944 – 2024 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leslie “Les” Lutz, who left us on November 8, 2024, at the age of 79 years. Born on November 21, 1944, in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Les’s life was marked by resilience, humor, and a deep love for family and friends. Leslie was predeceased by his beloved parents, Reinhold and Barbara Lutz. He is survived by his devoted brother, Wayne, and many friends who cherished him for his indomitable spirit. Throughout his life, Les dedicated many years to working at the greenhouse, where he nurtured his appreciation for nature and plants. This work perfectly reflected his love for yard work, allowing him to cultivate beauty in both his surroundings and the lives of those he touched. Les had a special fondness for his cats, Muffin and Suzie, who brought him immense joy and companionship. Les was an ardent fan of Johnny Cash, often enjoying the legendary artist’s music. The family encourages those wishing to honor Leslie to remember the joy and laughter he brought into their lives.
