EDWARD VASSEUR 1934 ~ 2024 It is with heavy hearts that the family of Edward George ‘Ed’ Vasseur announce his passing in Medicine Hat on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the age of 90 years. Along with Delores, his loving wife of over 67 years, Ed’s memory will be cherished in the hearts of his four children: Eldon (Cindy) Vasseur, Denise Vasseur, Wendy (Jeff) Grace and Gerald Vasseur; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; his twin brother, Vic Vasseur and sister, Wanda (Rodney) Evenson. He was predeceased by his parents, three brothers, one sister, one sister-in-law as well as one grandson. Ed was born in Frontier, SK., where he farmed for over 50 years with Delores before they retired to Medicine Hat. A Celebration of Ed’s life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Murray Jaster officiating and a time of fellowship thereafter in the Cook Southland Reception Facility. Ed’s Celebration will be live streamed.
