Oliver Lennox Ramage Oliver Lennox Ramage, 90, of Lethbridge Alberta, died December 19, 2024 at St. Michael’s palliative care unit in Lethbridge Alberta after a long battle with cancer.
Oliver was born on December 13, 1934 to Euphemia (Lennox) Ramage and Pringle Ramage in Star City Saskatchewan.
Oliver was valedictorian of his high school class and attended university in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. His employment at Richardson’s Greenshields took him to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Saint John, New Brunswick, and Lethbridge Alberta, where he eventually retired.
He married the love of his life, Margaret Lucille “Peg” Pryor in 1958 and had three children. Gary, 1959. Ken, 1963. Susan, 1965.
“Ollies” passion in life has always been Golf. He played even when macular degeneration had rendered him 90% blind. He enjoyed curling and was was a lifelong Paul Harris fellow Rotarian. He enjoyed his friends and family more than they could ever know.
Oliver was preceded in death by his wife, Peg in 2009, his parents, and his siblings; Lennox, Ross, Lawrence, Doreen, Thyra, Glenna, and Clayton.
He is survived by his children, many grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
It was Oliver’s wish to be cremated, and he will be buried alongside his wife Peg at Mountain View cemetery in Lethbridge Alberta in a small, private ceremony with his immediate family.
Oliver’s was a life well lived, and he will be missed by many.
