SCOTT SHEARDOWN 1967 ~ 2025
Scott Clarkson Sheardown, beloved husband of Brenda and father of Brock, passed away in Medicine Hat on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at the age of 57 years. Scott was born in Medicine Hat where he graduated from Medicine Hat High School and then entered the retail industry. This is where he met his loving wife as they were destined to share the next 35 years together. Once their son Brock was born, their family was complete. For the past 31 years, Scott was a valued employee at South Country Village, helping the residents and staff through his role in maintenance. Along with Brenda and Brock, Scott leaves to cherish his memory: one brother, James Sheardown (Coreen); two sisters, Donna-Lee Sheardown (Collin Stabler) and Carmen Rath (Mike); sister-in-law, Diane McMahon as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Jim and Connie Sheardown as well as one sister, Colleen Sheardown. A Celebration of Scott’s life will be held at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, 635 – 4 Street S.E., Medicine Hat on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Oz Lorentzen officiating. Private Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
