JODY ELIZABETH BOHLE With profound sadness we announce the passing of Jody Elizabeth Bohle/Barnes on April 10, 2025 from complications of a recent illness. Jody was born on October 23, 1964 in Calgary to her parents Don and Joy. Jody had some serious health problems in the past few years, and she is now without pain and in the realm of love and peace. Jody’s mom will greatly miss the wonderful visits they often had in Red Deer and Lethbridge. Jody’s sons Nicholas and Benjamin loved their mother dearly and will miss her love and support. Her life was filled with adventure, singing, decorating, socializing, and the most giving of spirits. Her wit and infectious laughter lit up the room. Jody graduated from F.P.Walshe High School in Fort Macleod and the Lethbridge Community College where she studied Business Administration Management and was a successful entrepreneur in the Lethbridge area as a founding partner of Bel Aire Welding. Jody leaves behind her loving fiancĂ© Randy Barnes of 8 devoted years, pride and joy sons Nicholas and Benjamin, mother Joy, sister Leslie, niece Sian and nephew Bruce.
For Jody
“Those we love don’t go away. They walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed, and very dear.” At her request there will be no funeral service and cremation will be provided by Cornerstone Funeral and Cremation Services Ltd. Lethbridge.

Jody was the kindest of spirits. I remember one Christmas, not long after I had started at the Enmax, she walked all the way over the suite to ensure I received a special tip in appreciation of my services as a suite attendant. That was Jody, thoughtful, attentive, creative. Although I didn’t see her as often once the suite/ seats were given up, when I did, there was always a big hug and a lovely visit. She was so proud of her kids, and so lovely to those around her. The world has lost the brightest star, the heavens have gained on.
