1948 – ANDREW KLUG – 2025 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Andrew William Klug, who departed this world on August 3, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on June 8, 1948, in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Andrew was a beloved son, brother, and friend whose life was marked by hard work, dedication, and a love for the land. Andrew was the cherished son of William and Esther Klug, who predeceased him. Andrew dedicated most of his life to farming in the Walsh and Medicine Hat areas, where he earned a reputation for his strong work ethic and commitment to the agricultural community. Andrew is survived by his brother, Philip Klug; sisters, Jeanette Toews, Christine Shaw, Marlene Koch, Barbara Debler, and Valerie Lerner; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Andrew Klug’s life was a testament to the values of hard work and respect for nature. His spirit will live on in the memories of those he loved and who loved him. As we say goodbye to Andrew, we take comfort in knowing he is reunited with his beloved parents, William and Esther Klug. Rest in peace, dear Andrew. You will be missed but never forgotten.
