ARMAND GAUTHIER 1944 ~ 2025 Armand Phileas Gauthier, age 81, of Medicine Hat, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 18, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on July 6, 1944, in Ponteix, Saskatchewan, Armand lived a life full of generosity, laughter, and love. A devoted husband, proud father, cherished Grandpère, and loyal friend, he touched countless lives with his kindness and spirit. Armand’s greatest joy came from family. He created a home where love, support, and laughter were abundant, and where lasting memories were made during holidays, gatherings, and simple everyday moments. He is survived by his beloved wife, Loretta; sons, Steven (Sheena) and Eric (Katharine); two precious grandchildren, Sy and Wynn; siblings, Gertie, Henri, Roland, and Odile as well as his in-laws, Lorne, Josie (John) and Bernard (Mary Louise). He will be remembered always for his warmth, humor and unwavering love for his family. In accordance with Armand’s wishes, there will be no formal service.
