ARCHIE DAFFY

1934 ~ ARCHIE DAFFY ~ 2025 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Archie Daffy on October 20, 2025, at the age of 91 years. He is survived by his wife of 69 years Betty; three children, Randy (Brenda) Daffy, Kim (Dennis) Ulrich and Cindy (Murray) Bertsch; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Archie was predeceased by is parents, Henry and Mary (Heller) Daffy; one daughter, Nancy Czember and one grandson, Chris Czember. Archie was born and raised on the farm Southwest of Schuler where he farmed and raised cattle until moving to Medicine Hat in 2017. To him farming was a passion and not a job as he remained active with it into his 80’s, only having to leave the farm due to health reasons. His other great passion was fishing; be it winter or summer any lake that he could drive to (leaving at 4 a.m.) was fair game, if there was a fish to be caught, he was there trying. Some of his memorable fishing trips were to Great Bear Lake and numerous trips to the BC coast. Thank You to the staff at South Country Village for the care he received over the past few years.
