CLARENCE SEEFRIED
Posted: November 15th, 2025 CLARENCE SEEFRIED June 15, 1932 ~ November 11, 2025 Clarence Seefried passed away peacefully at the Leisure Way Group Home near Dunmore, AB., on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at the age of 93 years. Left to cherish Clarence’s memory is his sister, Frieda Janke as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Clarence was predeceased by his brother, Albert; three sisters, Irene Gackle, Esther Wutzke and Alice Hauck as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Clarence was born on the family farm near Bowell, AB., to proud parents, Robert and Annie Seefried. After his parents moved into town, Clarence stayed out on the farm and continued to work the land. In 2006, due to his declining health, Clarence moved into the Leisure Way Group Home just south of Dunmore. Although reluctant to move into the home at first, Clarence came around to love the freedom of living out in the country setting that the home had to offer. He was always very musical and had his guitar and banjo ready to play wherever he went. Clarence will forever be remembered as a man of honour who believed strongly that “Your handshake is your word.” Those wishing to pay their respects may do so beginning one hour prior to the celebration of Clarence’s life which will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Murray Jaster officiating.
