1947 LYNDA KINNER 2025 Lynda Kinner (nee McEachern) passed away in Medicine Hat, Alberta on November 16, 2025, at the age of 78 years. She is survived by her significant other, John Minarik; sister-in-law, Linda McEachern of Cambridge, ON; nieces and nephews, Julie (Cameron) Jollimore of Stratford, ON, Valerie (Brad) Reynolds of Cambridge, ON, Joe (Alana) McEachern of Listowel, ON, and Kristen (Dan) McEachern of Owen Sound, ON; as well as great nieces and nephew, Hazel, Violet, Emma, Simon, Abigail, and Elizabeth. Lynda was predeceased by her first husband, Franklin Miles of Thunder Bay, ON; second husband, Jerry Kinner of Medicine Hat, AB; brother, Don “Malcom” McEachern of Cambridge, ON and sister, Verna McEachern of Owen Sound, ON. Lynda was a proud member of the Hillhurst Rebekah Lodge #116 of Calgary, the Eastern Star, as well as the Canadian Snowbird Association. Lynda enjoyed being a snowbird and spent her winters in Yuma, Arizona where she and Jerry extensively worked with Crossroads Mission. She and Jerry were often recognized for their charity work, even receiving recognition from and meeting US President, Bill Clinton, and The Governor of Arizona, John McCain. Lynda and Jerry also received recognition from Bob Wanner and Wally Regher for their work with CARO (Canadian’s Reaching Out to the World’s Children Foundation). Other than her charity work, Lynda loved all things simple. She will be remembered for her kind and giving heart. At Lynda’s request, she will be laid to rest beside her first husband, Franklin Miles, in Thunder Bay, ON. Donations in Lynda’s memory may be made to your local Heart and Stroke Foundation.
