One Condolence for “WOOD, Burns”

  1. Jack Davidson says:

I will always remember Burns for his compassionate ways and his interest in all those he met. I met Burns approximately 50 years ago. I was a young Irish immigrant arrived in Calgary 1970. I joined the church in Belfast. I didn’t know anyone in Calgary, but meet Burns and Nena at a stake event. Pre Bullock was our stake president.Burns sister married to President Bullock. Burns always showed interest in people and I was no exception WE enjoyed talking about the armed forces. Occasionally he would come to our home and he and my wife and I would have chats around the dinner table. . We kept in touch all these years and I will always remember him. I used to tell him the angles in heaven spoke Irish Gaelic. Maybe now he believes me.
    Rest in peace Brother Burns!
