KENNETH WESLEY CULLER 1931 ~ 2026 With great sorrow we announce the peaceful passing of Ken on April 18, 2026 surrounded by his loving family and friends at the age of 94 years.
Ken was born on August 16, 1931, third child of Albert and Annie Culler. He married Sally Dench and they resided on the home place until they started a new farmstead and stayed there until their move to Warner in 1981. Sally passed away in 1991 and later he married Kay Janzen of Helena. Ken and Kay eventually moved to Lethbridge. After Kay’s passing in 2001 he married Carlene Selk in 2006. He enjoyed wintering in Arizona at Roadhaven Park for a number of years.
Over the years he belonged to the Wrentham Lions Club and was President of the local FUA. He spent numerous hours volunteering working on the Wrentham Community Center and Curling Rink, the Warner Elks Hall as well as the Curling Club buildings. He served as draw master for the bonspiels held in Wrentham, Warner, the Farmers and Elks in Lethbridge. He belonged to the Warner BPOE for 53 years, serving as Exalter Ruler for two of those. He was also the manager of Drilander apartments in Warner for 10 years.
His hobbies included playing cards, camping, boating, fishing, curling and golfing. He spent several summers camping at Indian Hills Golf and Campground and enjoyed helping maintain the course and campground.
Ken is survived by his loving wife Carlene Selk; sons Starley (Theresa) Culler, Hal (Janet) Culler; grandchildren Jennifer (Jamie) Jones, Jason (Chelsea) Culler, Lora (Lorin Gaudet) Culler, and Kelsey (James) Galbraith as well as 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by Carlene’s children Marsha Selk, Bruce (Carol) Selk and Greg (Pat Ryan) Selk.
Besides his loving parents, Ken was predeceased by his first wife Sally Culler; second wife Kay Culler; sister Audrey Clarke and his brother Raymond Culler.
Cremation entrusted to Martin Brothers Funeral Chapels.
Inurnment will take place in the Warner Cemetery.
