Lana was born on September 27, 1951, in Pincher Creek and made her home in Okotoks, where she built a life centered around her family.
Lana devoted 47 years of her life to her career as a Registered Nurse. She touched countless lives with her compassion, dedication, and gentle spirit. Nursing was more than a profession to Lana – it was a reflection of who she was at her core.
She will be lovingly remembered for her vibrant smile, unwavering strength, and the kindness she showed to everyone she met. Lana had a remarkable way of making people feel appreciated and special, always offering a warm smile, kind words, and a wonderful sense of humor that brought laughter to those around her. Her personality could light up any room, and her caring nature, quick wit, and joyful spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Outside of her career, Lana found joy in gardening, travelling, cooking, and baking for the people she loved. She especially cherished spending time with her family. Watching her grandchildren grow brought her endless pride and happiness, and her home was always filled with warmth, love, laughter, and something wonderful from the kitchen.
