KRUSZEWSKI PHYLLIS CLAIRE KRUSZEWSKI, beloved wife and best friend of Stanley Kruszewski of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at the Fairmont Extendicare on May 13, 2026.
Born and raised on a farm in Claresholm, Phyllis lived a life deeply rooted in the country she loved. She found great joy in the simple beauty of farm life and treasured the time spent surrounded by the land and the animals she cared for so dearly. Her lifelong love of horses remained an important part of who she was and continued to bring her happiness throughout her years.
After marrying her best friend, Stanley, the two built a life filled with love, laughter, and many treasured memories. Together, they shared countless happy times line dancing, curling, and enjoying the friendships and strong sense of community that came along with those activities. Whether spending time with friends or simply enjoying life together, Phyllis and Stanley created a life centered around companionship, kindness, and devotion to one another.
Phyllis also had a deep love of reading. Books brought her comfort, adventure, knowledge, and endless hours of enjoyment throughout her life. She could often be found with a good book close by, always eager to lose herself within its pages.
Above all else, Phyllis was a devoted wife, loving mother, and loyal friend who treasured every moment spent with her family, especially her sons, Todd and Paul. Her gentle nature, caring heart, and quiet strength touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be lovingly remembered for her warm smile, her love of country living, and the kindness and warmth she so naturally shared with those around her.
Though she will be deeply missed, the memories she created and the love she gave so freely will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
At Phyllis’ request, no funeral service will be held. Cremation entrusted to Cornerstone Funeral Home.
