RICHARD “RICK” PETRICK

RICHARD “RICK” PETRICK 1950 – 2026 Rick Petrick passed away on May 19, 2026, at the age of 75 years. Left to cherish Rick’s memory is his wife of 52 years, Sharon (nee Spitzer); children, Aaron Petrick (Tanisha), and Crystal Pachan (Mike); grandchildren, Taylor (Levi), Ryder (Trista), Maria, and Rachel. He is also survived by his sister, Penny Gardner (Grahame); in-laws, Milton Spitzer (Elaine), Larry Spitzer (Sherry), Donna Petrick, and Sandi Petrick.
Rick was predeceased by his parents, Weldon “Shorty” & Isobel Petrick; brothers, Gerald “Jerry” Petrick, and Lloyd Petrick; and his sister-in-law, Wendi Spitzer.
Rick was born on June 28, 1950, to Weldon and Isobel Petrick in Oyen, AB. Rick’s career path led him to become a millwright and safety person. He was a cherished husband, loving parent, and a devoted papa to his grandkids. He loved his family and golf…it depended on the day which one he liked most! Rick loved travelling to Mexico with Sharon and their friends.
As per Rick’s wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. A private family gathering will take place at a later date.
