1938 – 2012 Rita “Alice” Schilder, loving wife of John, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and aunt, passed away peacefully with her family by her side in Lethbridge on Sunday, October 7, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer.
A private family burial service will be held at the Taber Memorial Garden on Friday, October 12, 2012. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family for a tribute to Rita’s life at the Royal Canadian Legion, 5205 – 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, October 12, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. Anyone that knew Rita will always remember her as a dedicated and meticulous homemaker who loved to cook, garden and can. Her hobbies included camping, needle point, quilting and bingo.
