GOODMAN Dora

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother DORA AGNES GOODMAN, of Lethbridge, passed away at St. Therese Villa, on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at the age of 89 years.
Dora is survived by her 8 children; Greg (Barb) Goodman, Gerry Dobek, John (Anita) Goodman, Frank Goodman, Catherine Goodman, Mary (Brent) Tarcon, Ken Goodman, and Theresa (Garth) Gromnisky.
She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; Russell (Elaine) Goodman, Claire Goodman (Josh Hurley), Patrick Dobek, Allison Dobek, Michael Dobek, Jason (Melinda) Tarcon, Jessica (Bryant) Larson, Tahlia Gromnisky, Kyran Gromnisky and 3 great grandchildren; Nicholas, Jacob and Alysa Tarcon.
Predeceased by her husband Samuel Goodman, as well as her brothers and sisters; Anne, Jim, Felix, Pat, Mary and Helen.
Dora was born in Pincher Creek, December 4, 1922, to parents Vincent and Mary Ann Tompkins. She married Samuel Goodman October 18, 1948 and then moved to Brocket for Sam to Manage the CPR station. They then moved to the Crowsnest Pass where she resided for many years before moving to Lethbridge. Mom spent numerous years volunteering for meals on wheels, St. Michael’s Auxiliary Hospital, and as was an active member of the C.W.L. The most important aspects of mom’s life were her faith, family and God’s creation.
A Prayer Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 7:00 PM
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. BASIL’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 604 13 Street North, Lethbridge, AB, on October 18, 2012 at 1:00 PM with Father Roque Pereira Celebrant
