Thomas Larry Coombes, beloved husband of Rose Coombes of Taber, passed away in Lethbridge on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the age of 74 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 – 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, December 7, 2012 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Knox United Church, 4929 – 50 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Sandra Riddell officiating. Besides his loving wife Rose, Larry is survived by their three children Tim Coombes of Calgary and his children Jennifer (Danny) Fournier (their children Brandon, Angelle and Chase) and Troy Coombes all of Taber; Tom Coombes of Taber; Susan Coombes (Richard Bacho) of Taber. He is also survived by his brother Gordon Coombes of Calgary, Rose¹s brother Hurley (Margaret) Price of Taber and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Les and Corrine Coombes; sister Lynda Schauermann; sister and brother-in-law Barbara and Brian Ericksen; brother and sister-in-law Leroy and Shirley Coombes; Rose¹s parents Charlie and Marcella Price; Rose¹s sister and brother-in-law Buddy and Joe Godfrey.
