PUGH Grace

Grace Christensen Pugh, 84, of Lindon passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 29, 2012. Grace was born December 12, 1927 in Stirling, Alberta, Canada to Harold and Myrtle Freeman Christensen. She married Cecil Burton Pugh on March 17, 1955 in the Cardston Alberta Temple.
Grace grew up on the family farm near New Dayton and attended school there. She received her nurses training at Galt hospital and the University of Alberta where she met her devoted companion, Burt Pugh. Grace served as a gentle and intuitive nurse for many years. She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints fulfilling a mission in Eastern Canada as well as serving faithfully in numerous callings throughout her life. She loved handiwork, sewing, and cooking. She was a loving and compassionate wife and mother who taught selfless service and kindness through daily example. We are so grateful for her wonderful influence in our lives.
Grace is survived by her husband Burt and seven children, 31 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, as well as a brother, Donald (Joyce) Christensen, Stirling, Canada.
