Posted: December 18th, 2012VERNON LEROY HALL, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, December 12th, 2012 at the age of 75 years. Roy will truly be missed by his wife of 56 years, Treva (Prince) Hall; his children, Jack Hall, Bob (Norma) Hall, Sandra (Blaise) Marklinger and Alan Hall, and his grandchildren Jamie (Trish) Hall, Trinidy Hall, Chance Hall, Jesse Hall, Colter Hall, Renae (Jan) Laarman and Matthew (Rachel) Martinell as well as his great granddaughter; Teagan Hall. Roy is survived by his siblings, Joan (Wayne) Greep, Brent (Kathy) Hall, Tom (Pat) Hall and Don (Sheila) Hall and in-laws Cavell (Bud) Craig, Rick (Val) Prince, Lonnie (Betty) Prince, Peggy Prince and numerous nieces and nephews.
Roy was predeceased by his parents, his grandson, Brady Hall; brothers-in-law Wayne Prince and Gordon Prince; nephews, Steve Hall and Lucky Starzyk.
Roy was born in Cardston on April 14, 1937, eldest son of Vern and Gladys Hall, and lived there until he and Treva married on November 15, 1956. Following their marriage Roy and Treva moved to the family farm in Harrisville where he resided until his passing. Roy loved his wife, who he lovingly called Princess, his family, his horses and his ranch. He enjoyed competitive penning, trail rides and horseback square dancing. Roy overcame many health obstacles in his life and leaves a legacy of hard work, determination and dedication. Roy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and faithfully served in his church and Temple callings. He loved the Lord and had a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Roy will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Friends may meet the family at Legacy Funeral Home on Monday, December 17th from 7 to 8 p.m. or on Tuesday, December 18th from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the Service.
The Funeral Service will be held in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, South Hill Chapel, Cardston on Tuesday, December 18th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop Brad Beazer Officiating. Interment in the Beazer Cemetery.
