LOADER John
Posted: December 21st, 2012It is with sorrow the family announces the death of John James Loader on Tuesday December 18th, 2012 at St. Therese Villa in Lethbridge, Alberta.
Jim was a man with a big heart who dearly loved his family. Beloved father to John (Amy) Loader and Janice (John) Salomons. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Lisa Blais, Alicia and Lyndsey Loader, Paul and Peter Salomons, by his great-granchildren, his nieces, nephews and sister-in-law, Diane.
Jim will be remembered for his many years playing and coaching hockey, a sport which he dearly loved and which earned him the appropriate nickname “Red.” Jim lived for many years in Hamilton Ontario where he spent time golfing and bird watching. Jim also enjoyed fishing trips in Northern Ontario and traveling across Canada to visit his family.
In his later years, Jim moved out to Alberta to be closer to his family.
A Memorial Service will be held in the spring to celebrate Jim’s life.

I became acquainted with John’s warm smile and generosity as I delivered mail to his residence in Coaldale years ago. It was always a treat to chat with him and I have a treasured ceramic apple pie dish I purchased with a Christmas gift from him. May your many memories bring you smiles!
