LIPINSKI Wendy
Posted: January 4th, 2013Wendy Lipinski of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Matt Lipinski passed away after a lengthy illness, at St. Michael’s Palliative Care Unit on Dec. 28, 2012 at the age of 59 years.
Besides her loving husband, Matt, Wendy is survived by her mother, Mary Macfarlane, daughter Sonja (Kyle) and son Chris (Courteney); two grandchildren, Gabriel and Grace; three sisters, Heather, Judy and Debbie and three brothers, Paul, Mark and Danny.
She was predeceased by her father, Pete and brother, David.
Born in Toronto, Wendy was raised and educated in Lethbridge where she resided until her passing.
Wendy was a very talented individual and over the years was a singer, musician and exemplary artist. These qualities were evident in her everyday life, especially in her chosen profession as an RN, on 3C Surgical Unit at the Chinook Regional Hospital.
Wendy was loved by everyone and will be deeply missed.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013 at the Potemkin Art Gallery, upstairs at 411 – 3 Ave S, Lethbridge.

(Laurie works at Scotiabank, left Lethbridge 9 yrs ago, you and Wendy gave us a wedding gift in 2001, which is so cherished. The gift was a wood sculpture called “The Gift”. We think of you both each time we look at it.

I think often of her beautiful music,she was an amazing person. She brought much joy to all that knew her, though her music, art and her beautiful personality.
