OSULLIVAN Jack
Posted: January 9th, 2013JACK KENNETH O’SULLIVAN, passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the age of 76 years.
Jack was one of eight children born to John and Hattie Mae (Helen) O’Sullivan in 1936. He was born in Lethbridge and grew up in Fort Macleod, AB. Jack married Betty Jean Deglau in 1962 and worked as a self employed painter in Lethbridge for many years. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, and socializing with his friends at Bully’s until his passing.
He is survived by his daughter Shannon and son in law, Gregory Emann, of Medicine Hat, AB, one brother, Reg (Jean) O’Sullivan of Fort McLeod, AB, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jack was predeceased by his parents, five brothers, one sister, youngest daughter Shauna and wife Betty.
Relatives and Friends are invited to pay respects prior to the service from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M.
A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME – 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. with Major Glen Habkirk Officiating.
Cremation to follow.
A private family graveside service will take place at a later date.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army – Regional Development 822, 420 – 9 Avenue SE, Calgary, Alberta, T2G 0R9.
