THURLOW Elizabeth
Posted: February 26th, 2013ELIZABETH “BETTY” THURLOW, beloved wife of Mr. Donald Thurlow, passed away at Edith Cavell Care Centre on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at the age of 86 years.
Elizabeth was born in Fernie, B.C. on May 20, 1926. She worked for the T. Eaton Co. in Saskatoon, and then moving to Lethbridge worked for the T Eaton here. Later going to Garbutt’s Business College and then had an office job at Catelli Foods for 27 and a half years.
She was a 25 year member of the Royal Purple, member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Ladies Auxiliary of the Legion and also the Lethbridge Seniors.
She was predeceased by her parents: Flora and John Anderson, brother Archie and Sister Mrs. Margaret Peterson of Saskatoon.
Elizabeth leaves to mourn her loving husband Donald, daughters Linda Radic of Calgary, Arlene, Makin of Edmonton, brother Gordon (Kathie) Anderson of Lethbridge, Melvin (Marie) Thurlow of Montreal, Lynn (Jill) Thurlow of Calgary, sister-in-law Eileen Thurlow of Calgary, 3 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service will be held at ST. ANDREWS PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 1818 5 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB., on Monday, February 25, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Hugh Jack officiating.

Good day Don & family. I am so sorry to hear of your loss of Betty. I have very fond memories of the two of you travelling with me on several trips over several years. We had a lot of laughs & fun everywhere. Please accept my condolences & may God bless you & yours.
