HARVEY Ruth

RUTH EILEEN HARVEY, 75, of Raymond, beloved wife of Bruce Harvey, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 28, 2013 with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer.
Mom was born in Queensville, Ontario on September 7, 1937 to Raymond and Nellie Watson.
Mom met Bruce, the love of her life in 1954 and married him in 1955, just 10 days after her 18th birthday.
Mom loved her family dearly and looked forward to the many get-togethers. She had a passion for gardening and spent countless hours caring for her plants. Mom spent her evenings knitting, crocheting and quilting, often working on many projects at once. Mom was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She is survived by her loving husband and best friend Bruce; their children: Patricia, Phil (Wendy), Andy (Shannon), Rob (Shelly), Kim (Robert), Penny (Jason), 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and her sister, Elva.
Mom was predeceased by her parents: Raymond and Nellie, a brother Lou, and her in-laws: Ernest and Ervie Harvey.
The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, KNIGHT STREET CHAPEL, 260 E, 200 N, Raymond, with Bishop Jim Steed officiating.
Friends may meet the family prior to the service from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m.
Interment to follow in the Stirling Cemetery.
