It is with deep sadness and sorrow, we announce the passing of a dear wife, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at her home on the Blood Reserve at the age of 68 years old.
Ruby is survived by her husband, Martin; daughter, Sandra (Clayton); son, John; grandchildren, Allysa (Cody), Denny, Slade, Grace; sisters, Molly, Evelyn, Donna, Mary, Martha, Terry (Calvert), Rebecca and numerous nieces and nephews. Her brother, Raymond Panther Bone; adopted children, Jesse and John Desjarles; God son, Darryl Many Grey Horses; brother in laws, Dan and Thomas Eagle Child; sister in law, Sylvia Hoven and their families. Ruby is also survived by her extended families that also include: Chief Moons, Long Time Squirrels, Red Crows, Wells, Old Shoes and White Mans.
Ruby was predeceased by her great granddaughter, Harley Nova No Runner-Crop Eared Wolf; parents, Alphonse and Ruth Many Grey Horses Sr.; brothers, Douglas, Roy, Alphonse Jr, Melvin Many Grey Horses and Lewis Panther Bone; sisters, Daisy and Lucy Many Grey Horses; nephews, Tyler, Melvin Jr, Travis, Taylor; and nieces, Brenda and Chantel.
A Candle Light Vigil will be held on Wednesday, March 27th, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. at Martin Eagle Child’s Residence.
The Wake Service will be held at the Senator Gladstone Hall, Blood Reserve on Wednesday, March 27th, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00a.m.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Senator Gladstone Hall, Blood Reserve on Thursday, March 28th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Sidney Black officiating. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Berry Gorham.

Sorry to hear about the loss of Ruby. I met her in Minneapolis Minnesota through her sister Martha. My love and prayers go out to her family. She was a good woman who loved her family and the youth and elders of her tribe.
Our most sincere condolences for your loss. Please find comfort in God’s promise of everlasting life (John3:16) on the basis of the great love he has for mankind, God is doing something even now to remove our problems, including death. Our thoughts are with you.
