LOCKER Robert

Robert (Bob) Locker, beloved husband of Evelyn Eagle Speaker-Locker, passed away peacefully at Laurel Place Hospice in Surrey BC on January 26, 2013 at age 77. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 55 years, Evelyn, daughter Karon (Jay) Maclean, grandsons Derek and Matthew, nieces Sherry (Ernie) Holowach, Wendi Clark, Gayle (Rob) Pitt, Caroline (Paul) Sykes, nephew Barry (Maire) Stevenson and their children. He was predeceased by his parents, Archie Munroe Locker and Gertrude Williams, sister Dorothy Larson and brother James Earl Locker.
A Traditional Blessing-Placement ceremony will be held Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 2:00pm at the Magrath Cemetery family plot to be conducted by Spiritual Leader Elder Wilton Good Striker. A feast for family and friends will follow at the Sik-ooh-kotoki Friendship Centre in Lethbridge.
Bob’s wish was for people to celebrate his life more than to mourn his death. He will be missed and fondly remembered by those who knew and loved him.
