DALKE Marvin
Posted: May 14th, 2013It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of MARVIN DALKE on May 10, 2013.
Marvin was born on October 1, 1939 in Carnwood, AB. The family then moved to the Warburg area where he completed his schooling. Upon the completion of schooling, Marv joined the army and was able to travel overseas.
When he was released, he started working for AGT and moved his family to the Crowsnest Pass. After he retired from Telus, Marv started his own trucking business which he ran up until two years ago when his health forced him to retire.
He was also an avid camper and spent all of his summers in the bush.
Marv is survived by his loving wife Lynn; his five children, Shelley, Tammy, Danielle, Todd and Carmen and his 11 grandchildren.
Marvin was predeceased by both his parents August and Lillian Dalke; a granddaughter, Lyndsey; his sister, Barb; and his brother, Ron.
A Celebration of Life is to be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, at Eden’s Funeral Home in Pincher Creek.
