Passed away in Raymond on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at the age of 82 years.
She is the loving mother of Patrick Brown (deceased) (Diane Osback), and his children: Warden, Kirsten (Mike) – Nakatani and Charlotte. Nancy (Gord) Coppieters, and their children: Randy Coppieters – Alisha – Arieanna, Rashel – Rhea, Charmaine, Andrea, Devin Coppieters, Greg (Jill) Coppieters – Ryenne, Landin, Radley, Shyla Coppieters. Kate (Jay) Shukle and their children: Phillip Meldrum (deceased) – Jessica and her son Luke, Mark Meldrum – Dylan, Brayden.
Colleen is survived by sister Julie (Albert – deceased) Irwin, brother Kay (June) Bone, sister Joanne (Rene – deceased) Buteau and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her son Patrick Brown, grandson Phillip Meldrum, brother Ray Bone, parents Lindon and Annie Bone, first husband Wally Brown, second husband Ceasar Coppieters.
She grew up in Magrath. Colleen’s mottoes were “see the need, do the deed”, “lend a helping hand”, “put your shoulder to the wheel”. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She loved dancing. Colleen was a hard worker and found joy through service to others.
The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 7, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, KNIGHT STREET CHAPEL, Raymond. Friends may meet the family prior to the service at the church from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m.
Interment to follow in the Magrath Cemetery.

So sorry to hear of your moms passing
It’s always bittersweet to let someone go that you loved. Your mom was always so kind to us kids. She always made us feel special and loved when meeting up with her. She was one of the anchors in our childhood and we are better people for having her & your family a part of our lives. may you cherish your sweetest memories and experiences with your mom.
