Maurice Bourassa passed away on June 24, 2013, after a lengthy illness at the age of 80 years, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife Shirley and their 4 children: Richard, Diana, Robert and Debbie as well as 2 brothers and 2 sisters, nieces and nephews. He has 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Maurice was born to Tom and Alma Bourassa in Lundbreck, Alberta in 1932. He married Shirley in 1955 and moved to Lethbridge in 1956, where they raised their children. A private graveside service will be held for the immediate family. A “Come and Go” is being held at the Lethbridge Senior Centre, at 500 – 11th Street South on June 29th, from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm, for friends and family to pay their respects.
