ELLINGSON David

DAVID BARRIE ELLINGSON of Lethbridge passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at the age of 59 years.

He is the loving son of Wally and Joyce Ellingson of Lethbridge. David is also survived by his sister Pat Aebig and her son Levi, his brother Jim and his children Danny, Kim, Shelby and Madison, as well as many cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his birth mother Violet, his grandmother Annie Barrie, his brother-In-law Rick Aebig, and numerous aunts and uncles. David worked at the Ability Centre (Bottle Depot and on the Lawn Care Crew) for over 35 years. He loved the outdoors and spent many camping trips and functions with his family and friends. His favourite hangouts included The Onion Bar & Grill and Tim Hortons. The family would like to thank his most recent caregivers, Boyd and Dorothy Low, his former caregivers over the years, SACLA and the Rehab Society, and the Paramedics and ER Staff of the Chinook Regional Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME LTD., 2825-32nd Street South on Friday, January 10th 2014 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Glenda Wert officiating.
