ROBERTSON MACKEY Gwendolyn

Born Gwendolyn Carol Sarah Hooper on Christmas Day, 1919 in Edmonton, passed away at St. Therese Villa, Lethbridge on January 7th, 2014. Gwen enjoyed two happy marriages in her 94 years. She had her three children, Gerald, Barbara & Douglas with her first husband Robert Logie Robertson. Many happy memories will be treasured by her daughter, Barbara (Bob) Gammon & their children, Jeff (Krista), Jocelyn (Alex), & Stacey (Tyler) and her son, Douglas (Erna) Robertson & their children, Raina & Michael (Terry), along with 11 great grandchildren and extended family members. After her first husband’s death, she married Arthur Stewart Mackey embracing his family including three step children Jo-Ann Brownie, Ken Mackey, Robert Mackey, 5 step grandchildren and 1 step great grandchild. She was predeceased by her eldest son, Gerald Robertson, her two husbands, and her two sisters, Joan Irving and Geraldine Kranenberg. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at St. Augustine’s Anglican Church (411-11th Street South Lethbridge, Alberta) at 1:00 p.m. with the Reverend Canon James Robinson officiating.
