SCHNURR JanetAugust 18, 1940 – January 14, 2014JANET SCHNURR passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital at the age of 73, following a sudden illness complicated by her battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving family, husband Edward, daughters Pat (Jim) MacKinnon, Nancy (Dave) Wing, sons Sandy (Sherry) Schnurr and Robert (Peggy) Schnurr. Her grandchildren, Scott, Jennifer, Jason, Sydney, Elizabeth, Jamie, Chantal, Shanelle and Cole and great granddaughter Alyvia. She will also be missed by her sister Diane Stuart, many sister and brother in-laws and nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her mother Alma Dorcas (Dot) Wilkinson and her father John Bruemmer, brother Richard Bruemmer and grandson Shane. Janet’s biggest joy in life was spending time with her family, and her friends. She was active at the Coaldale Senior Centre and was always ready to have a chat and a coffee with her many wonderful friends. Janet’s infectious smile and spirit will be missed by everyone. Thank you to those of the IC unit of the Chinook Regional Hospital that cared for our wife and mother. The family will hold a “Celebration of Life” in Kelowna, BC in the Spring.
