On Tuesday, July 29, 2014, John Braun of Vegreville, Alberta passed away at the age of 80 years. John is survived by his loving family, his wife of 57 years, Tena; children Jim (Darleen), Marilyn (Barry) Topechka, Sharon (Randy) Miller and Brian (Shereen); twelve grandchildren Heather, Shaun, Randy, Michael, Jason, Amanda, Elissa, Cassidy, Ashley, Christina, Robyn and Angela; eleven great-grandchildren; five brothers Peter, Carl, George, Bill and David; one sister Katharina; along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. John was predeceased by one son Randy; parents Isaac and Maria Braun; three brothers Henry, Abe and Jake. A Public Viewing will be held on Monday, August 4, 2014 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Autumn Rose Funeral Home in Vegreville. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Vegreville Alliance Church with Reverend Darryl Crocker officiating. Interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery.
